In a Nail biting climax in first playoffs, It was CSK which romped home victorious to cruise into the finals of IPL-11 2018 for 7th time proving how successive their Franchisee has been. With regards to SRH,  they concentrated more on bowling defending Low totals,  with middle order failing abruptly in most of matches and the Management taking no action on rotating  Players, Some deserving  seen relaxing on the bench waiting for an opportunity.

While CSK relied on rotating players,  Faf Du Plessis us a amazing opening batsmen failed in many matches and was dropped and Management  trying various combinations to get the team going over victory Pole. Picked again for the last two matches F. Du Plessis played one gem of innings in a crucial and needed match with control and Patience taking CSK to 7th IPL final.

SRH has been retaining Manish Pandey and Shakib UlHassan who failed miserably and seen struggling for form , when you had Deepak Hooda who can win and spin for team, and award Basil Thampi one more chance to deliver as he can bat too.  Even Chris Jordan could have been tried in place of Sandeep Sharma as his swinging Yorkers could have helped SRH , and M.Nabi a chance to replace Shakib Ul Hassan.CSK strategies were best,  rotating  and trying out their  options and got Deepak Chahar,  shuffling batsmen top to middle and vice versa they reaped Ambati Rayudu and Deepak Chahar playing match saving and winning knocks. CSK opted all All-rounders at the bottom to ensure if they failed in bowling they had a task to improve in batting and their strategy paid off creating a successful Mantra for team.

Bravo,  Jadeja,  Chahar, Harbhajan Singh   Shardul Thakur were found beneficial in Teams Consistent performance. You give a Raw Team to Captain Cool  MS.Dhoni  he delivers back  a Promising Team by bringing out the best from Youngsters.SRH has one more chance to battle it for finals when they play the winner of Eliminator Round.    If they are serious in building a successful team they have  to look for several options to strengthen their batting order and flush out unproductive players and rope in all-rounders to an extent.
