About Lokpal Bill he said the Lokpal Bill is fundamental. I think it is very important. But as I said it earlier it treats a disease after it happens. You have to think about the disease before it happens. At the end of the day the Lokpal Bill is going to come into contact with politicians. It will have to go to Parliament. It has to be operationalised. So let us think about improving the quality of the politicians, particularly the young politicians and the best way to improve the quality is to bring more people into politics. With regargs to specifics of the Lokpal Bill, I think the Prime Minister should come under it after he demits office. I have my concerns about the Prime Minister coming under it while he is in office. The reasons I have my concern is that the Prime Minister needs to lead the country, but the Prime Minister must come under its purview the day he demits office. Any activity that has to be done with regard to prosecution of the Prime Minister, it should happen the day he demits office. But in my view if you impose the Lokpal Bill on the Prime Minister while he is in office you open him up to a constant engagement which will be unhealthy for the leadership of the country. When the Prime Minister is running the country he needs to have a focus on the country and the day he leaves office, prosecute him. Make the bill applicable to him the day he demits office.
